Website update: Blog tag and more!
Published on 2025-08-29. #personal-project #blog-update
I’m graduating!
You may have noticed that I removed the tag line “SE student” from the home page, It’s because I will soon be no longer a student.

I recently finished my internship at VNPT Hậu Giang, which means that I’m close to graduating now. I had a lot of fun during my internship there. People are kind too. During my internship, I get to create a microservice application with Spring, engineer it from the ground up. It’s impossible for me to describe how much I’ve learned, and how valuable they are.
I’m really lucky that my internship is at VNPT Hậu Giang.
For now, while writing report to send it back to school, I think it’s the best time to start looking for a job. So if you happen to know an open position that fit me well, please send me information about it. There’s no way I know how many people read this (and their identity obviously), I hope I can work with you in the near future.
Anyway, let’s get to the main content of this blog post:
Tag support!
I have added tag to this website.

This require a bit of time to add tag support to layout here and there, but I’m glad it’s not a tedious process.
Funny thing, when I was finding resources about adding blog tag to astro, turn out the official getting started tutorial already covered the matter. Either I didn’t read the thing entirely or I just forget about it ehe.
Math support!
It was broken and I was unable to get it to work so I decided to ignore it.
Well, the solution is just adding the css file to style the math properly. Somehow I didn’t do it and thought it’s broken somewhere. Ehehe…
Contact page!
If you access this website on a device which screen width equal or larger than 768px, you may have noticed that there’s a few social network icons on the bottom right side of your screen.

They are actually ways to contact me. Click on an icon and it will take you to my profile on the platform represent by that icon.
This approach in my opinion have a few problems:
- Most people will not get that these are ways to contact me. (Think of it like seeing logo in the credit scene of the movie.)
- I have to hide those logos on small screen, as there are not enough space.
- It’s hard to provide explaination, note, or hinting which is the prefered method.
So, I pulled off a contact page, which is literally just a wall of text.

It looks a bit ugly, because I haven’t think of decorating it much. Maybe it will receive a rework somewhere near the future.
But for now, I think it’s good enough.
And more.
This update come with some UI fixes here and there (For example, you will notice that you can open menu on your phone now). This should give everyone a pleasant experience navigating around this… boring website I guess?
Relate to upcoming updates: I enjoy reading and do read a lot of articles, most of which aren’t related to programming in general, so I’m thinking of creating another section on this website to share interesting article that I think you might want to read. While the section hasn’t existed yet, as a token of gratitude for scrolling this deep, here’s an article I would post in this said upcoming section.
Goodbye for now. See you at a later day.
